Why I Attend Central Lakes College Essay - 1808 Words

Application Essay Why did you choose to attend Central Lakes College? I attend Central Lakes College because it s closer to home. Central Lakes College had a certain aspect on campus with a friendly environment that seemed to me that nurtured the growth in education. What I mean by nurture the growth in education is that Central Lakes College has programs and people that overview your academic career. Programs such as TRIO help with my generals that correlates to transferring to a four-year university. I wanted to go to a community college before a university because it fits my budget better than going straight to a university. Choosing Central Lakes College was an easy choice because the academic and sports programs fit my personality. An education service that really cares about you. Describe Your Education and Career Goals Career goals and education at this point is getting my generals done and transferring to a university. My career goals are pretty open, with thoughts toward two complete different fields: business management or early childhood development. A lot of challenges have come from my education. Yes, I went to school my whole life but I changed school around seven different times before settling in one location. My family often moved around a lot because my parents work required us to be close to the surrounding area. Education with my family really pushed me to graduate because not a single member of my family has graduated from high school.
